Tecnocap Director of Sales, received three plaques from the Governor of the State of West Virginia, Earl Ray Tomblin, in a ceremony held in Charleston on August 24, 2016. Tecnocap was one of thirty-eight companies to be recognized. Each plaque represented a first time sale to the country designated on the plaque.

Over the past few years, Tecnocap Glen Dale facility has shipped to at least seventeen countries with many more countries receiving Tecnocap products through distributors and sales of consumer products which use Tecnocap closures.

The plaques are displayed in the lobby of the Glen Dale office.
The first countries to have received the shipments are Sri Lanka, Mexico, and Brazil.
